Success with FARMA Awards!

We are ecstatic to announce that we have won the 'Own and Local' and 'Best on Farm Bakery' from the National Farmers Retail and Markets Association (FARMA). We have been selected from over 140 entrants to win these awards and all the staff are thrilled with the success. 
As Own and Local winners we had to fulfil a criteria  where we have to produce ourselves half the food for sale in the farm shop, forty percent of our produce is local and ten percent is permitted from elsewhere. Here at Lifton Farm Shop we are a real working farm shop selling fruit, vegetables, free range eggs, beef and Christmas poultry, all from our own fields. The strawberries are grown for PYO, for the farm shop and also used to produce Jam and Marcia's Ice Cream. Our Lifton Farm Shop Logo goes onto all foods that have been grown or reared on the farm, or made in the shop.
 
The bakery begins at 5am with bread production then continued through the day where customers can see pasties, pies and cakes being made in front of your eyes. Our bakery is open view so customers can see everything that goes on.
