Come and experience a real working farm shop.
The Story So Far... Lifton
Strawberry Fields Farm Shop has now had their 5th anniversary
of the opening of the shop back in 2002.
They have not let the grass grow under their feet, and have grown
into a thriving enterprise. The Mounce
family has always been passionate about good home produced produce when
they started growing strawberries back in 1992.
Now their main aim is add value to their core farming activities.
From the soft fruit, orchard, and vegetables are made jams,
chutneys, and sold fresh. The
free-range eggs are made into meringues, cakes, pickled and sold in the
shop. The beef, which is fattened on our farm on the banks of the river
Lyd, are made into our ever-famous pies and pasties, and sold in prime,
cuts in our fresh butchery. |
